Beekeeping Experience

Spend an afternoon with our beekeeper while you learn little bit about honey bees and beekeeping. Then enjoy an unforgettable experience of looking into some working beehives, handling the bees and look for the queens.

There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos, so bring those cameras along.

The afternoon will finish with an opportunity to ask questions over a glass of our own mead. Then finally take a free jar of honey per attendee home with you.

There will also be discounts off any futher honey, candles or other gifts you wish to buy on the day.

This is just and experience and not designed to be a beekeeping course. If you with to keep your own bees after the experience then please chat to our beekeeper and he will talk to you about our full beekeeping course and how we can help you on your own journey into beekeeping.

We have limited the event to 5 people to ensure that you all get to see and experience the the bees up close. However if you have a group of more than 5 people and would like to attend together please contact us and we will try and arrange something for you.

Dates are limited to boom up early to avoid disappointment. The £40 per person is an introductory price and will increase in 2023.

If you book, but then cant make it please let us know. We dont charge a cancellation fee, but letting us know means somone else can attend.

Please note that weather conditions limit when we can run the events (bees dont like being openned up in bad weather) , so if the weather is expected to be bad we will contact you and try a to arrange an alternative date.
