It might be wet and nasty outside but there's always jobs to be done.
Today I was in the garage making clearer boards.
Clearer Boards are used separate the bees from the honey that is ready to remove. They are like a one way valve placed under the honey super, once in place the bees above are separated from the Queen so go down the hole and into the brood box below and can't return.
There are many different types but I like these rhombus ones as they are very effective.
