The comb comes complete in a wooden stand and boxed.
 
Despite the wording on the standard packaging, our comb honey contains NO wiring or thick foundation so you can consume everything (except of course the wooden frame).
 
Straight out of the hive. Aside from packaging the honey is completely unprocessed. As such, whilst we do our upmost to select perfect frames, there may be an odd few cells which are empty or containing pollen.
 
With all real honey it will crystallize (set) over time while in the comb this period is extended a bit. We advise for best results to store in a warm dry location and consume within 6 months or alternatively store in a freezer in an airtight container which will prevent granulation.
 
Weights vary but are priced in minimum approximate weight in 1/2lbs. So when you buy a 3lb size it will be a minimum of 3lb and maximum of 3.5lb.
Note that the there may be slight inaccuracies in the weight because it isnt possible for us to weigh the comb independently of the frame so we weigh each frame relative to a baseline frame.
 
We advise collection in person of this product as posting can result in some damage to the cell cappings which will not affect the taste of the product but will affect the aesthetics.
 
Our comb honey is beautiful to look at and the bees have worked really hard to make look so good, but please dont just display it, honour the hard work of the bees by consuming it.
 
We only use our own honey so all of our honey is traceable back to the hive.
